We're excited to let you know that we've rolled out a few updates to our platform. We've heard your feedback loud and clear, and have been working hard to make things run even smoother.
Here is the major update:
- Get Notified the Right Way: New Updates to Email and System Notifications for Comments
When a user adds a new comment to a system, the notification process varies depending on certain conditions. If the user tags or mentions someone in their comment, the tagged person will receive an email and system notification. However, the primary and secondary owners of the system where the comment was made will only receive a system notification, unless they are the ones who added the comment themselves.
If a new comment is added without tagging or mentioning anyone, the primary and secondary owners of the system will receive a system notification only if they did not add the comment themselves.
Similarly, when someone replies to a comment, the primary and secondary owners of the system where the comment was made will only receive a system notification, unless they were the ones who made the original comment.
It's worth noting that a user will only receive an email notification if they are directly tagged in the comment. These notification updates aim to improve the user experience and ensure that users only receive relevant notifications for the activities they are involved in.
Here are the minor updates:
1. "Column Resizer Memory!" The main column resizer now remembers your previous setting to make your experience even smoother.
2. Members & Roles Get A Refresh!
We're excited to announce that we've given our Members and Roles sections a makeover! We've made some minor tweaks and updates to both sections to make them even more user-friendly. You'll now notice that we've changed "Type of User" to "Type of Member" in the Members section, and "Users" to "Members" in the Roles section.
But that's not all! We've also added a new confirmation pop-up message and system ownership transfer message before deleting users. This is to ensure that your systems are taken care of by their new owners. So go ahead and explore the updated sections with ease!
3. "More Video Formats!" We've added support for Loom and Wistia videos in the System Details section, so you can embed your favourite videos seamlessly.
